A director for a movie company, forced to begin his next film production, runs into obstacles when the studio limits his assortment of ideas down to a select few.
On October 31, 2014, CosimoValuta developed an original film idea inspired by the business relationships between Poppleworks and Zilex1000, regarding different elements of being a director, as well as emotions to working in the Robloxiwood Studio System. Initially developed to be a short film to qualify in a December Short Film Contest, the project was later restructured into a proper movie.
On November 23, the plot synopsis was released, as well as the title card. The script was completed on November 28. Filming began on November 30, and lasted until December 3. On December 4, Assortments was finished editing. The trailer and film were released on December 5.
|Assortments, definitely one of my favorite movies made by CosimoValuta. Definitely something that is worth while to see. The character development that is portrayed throughout the film and the artistic integrity that is shown makes this one of my favorite ROBLOXiwood movies. 9.3/10||Routess|
- The film was originally going to be a short before the running time recategorized it as a proper film.
- Elizabeth, Michael, and Taylor are references to three cancelled movies of the same names.
- Chris is a reference to the character Chris Bush in Bandon Bush.
|The Director||After his first film, The Holiday, suffers dismal ratings, The Director attempts to wade through his assortment of ideas in order to make a sucessful picture.|
|Company Owner||The owner of the studio that The Director works at. His grip on the company is tight and secure, with his ideas guiding the company's restrictions on its employees.|
|The Co-Director||A long-time business partner and friend of The Director who helps him out with film projects, at the cost of his filmography being a disorganized mess when they are cancelled.|
|Chris||A CEO for Consolidated Films, Chris uses his persuasion skills to gain valuable members to manage his company's slate of films.|
